Practitioners log in, browse thousands of products from hundreds of supplement brands, create treatment plans with specific product recommendations, and share those plans with patients. Patients order from Fullscript’s catalog and receive discounted pricing relative to retail.
The value proposition is breadth — if you recommend across multiple supplement categories and multiple brands, having them consolidated in one platform is operationally convenient. The limitation is accountability: Fullscript is responsible for fulfillment, not manufacturing. Each product in their catalog is manufactured by a different company to a potentially different quality standard. Fullscript can and does vet suppliers, but the manufacturing accountability is ultimately with each individual brand.
The SHS Model
Scientific Health Solutions is a single-manufacturer dispensary. Everything in our catalog is made at our own cGMP facility in Santa Rosa, California — we are not a catalog of brands. When you recommend an SHS product, you know exactly who made it, under what quality system, and you can request the Certificate of Analysis from the specific production lot your patient receives.
The trade-off is catalog breadth — SHS’s catalog is focused rather than comprehensive. Our specialty is high-dose melatonin (10mg through 120mg), bulk melatonin powder, and targeted supplements (NMN, magnesium glycinate, ALCAR, milk thistle, DIM, Vitex). We’re not the right platform for practitioners who need a broad multi-category supplement catalog.
